Holiday Gift Guide: LeapFrog Zippity Learning System Review and Giveaway

Again, I will tell you how much I love LeapFrog's products! Their products are always fun and educational. They are the makers of some of my girls' favorite toys and I really enjoy their free online resource, the Learning Path where I can see my girls' progress and know exactly what they are learning.

LeapFrog sent my daughter their new Zippity Learning System (MSRP $79.99) and we have had a blast playing with it! The Zippity is the first TV-based gaming system for preschoolers that combines full-body movement, music, education and fun. It includes 16 active preloaded adventures - 8 games, each with 2 levels featuring Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Handy Manny, and Little Einsteins.

The fun does not stop at these adventures, there are additional games available for more learning-fun! We received Disney's The Prince and the Frog. This game has my daughter very excited to see the movie!

The Zippity not only is a lot of fun, but I appreciate the skills my daughter is learning, while staying active. Aiyana (age 3 1/2) is learning about music, letters and shapes, while practicing her listening, memory, and problem solving skills. Her absolute favorite adventure is the Little Einsteins game, where she gets to dance on the mat and the characters follow her lead. I like that there are multiple levels so the child gets used to using the mat and then the bopper is added into the game as the level advances. The quality of the graphics is far better than I expected. It resembles the actual Disney cartoons my daughter enjoys watching. Chloe (14 months) enjoys watching the characters on the screen and tries dancing around the mat to be just like big sister, but she still has some time before she will understand the real concept of the game.

This is the perfect game to have during the winter when the weather is too bad to go out to play. Kids can stay indoors and still stay active as they have fun playing the Zippity. Being able to dance, hop, steer and march their way to learning is a wonderful gift to give any preschooler!
