Protect Your Child From Harmful UVs: Baby Banz Review and Giveaway

Baby BanZ first started in Australia and was introduced to the US in 2002. A concerned parent who could not find a proper pair of sunglasses for their infant son, developed Baby Banz. They feature a wrap around design with 100 % UV protective lenses. They have since expanded their collection to carry a variety of products to protect our precious children's sensitive eyes and skin while making their items comfortable, durable and fun to wear.

Baby BanZ is a proud winner of the 2008 iParenting Media Award. They are clinically tested, have shatter proof frames and are adjustable so they can grow with your child, ages 0 - 2 years old. Their frames are available in a variety of colors. Their lenses are 100% UVB and UVA protective and are also capable of being replaced with prescriptive lenses. For ages 2 -5, Kid BanZ are available, also in a variety of colors.

Baby BanZ also makes the most adorable Bucket Hats. They are available in two sizes, 0 - 2 years and 2 - 5 years. They are made out of 100% cotton, poly-cotton blend PF. They block out more than 97.5% of UVB/UVA rays. The Bucket Hats are fully adjustable with an elastic strap above the brim of the hat that Velcros to hold. There are many fun prints and patterns to choose from.

There is a variety of UV Swimwear available including one, two, or three piece suits. They have all been clinically tested to a rating of UPF 50+. Not only are they stylish, but very functional as well. I would feel much safer having my daughter wear this suit when spending the day at the beach! The sun is fun, but oh so damaging!

Baby BanZ sent my daughter a gift set that includes both the Bucket Hat and Baby Banz glasses. I received the Pink and Green Floral Hat and glasses in Arctic White. Not only are the items adorable, but they must be comfortable because she has no problem leaving them on. The sunglasses feature a band that wraps around her head and Velcro'\s to ensure the proper fit. Without this band, the typical pair of sunglasses would have ended up off her head and into her mouth in 2 seconds flat. I love that they are affordable. I would rather pay the $15 for a pair of durable, quality Baby BanZ than waste my money buying pair after pair of cheaper , less durable sunglasses. We are an outdoors family and spend a lot of time in the sun. Knowing that I am protecting her sensitive eyes and her skin, makes me feel much better. And as parents, isn't protecting our children our main job?
